Reselling
Buy low, sell high, guides to profitable reselling.
Reselling is the fastest route to first revenue in this whole blog and the one most likely to plateau. Sourcing is a skill that compounds, but your time does not, and every extra dollar of profit costs roughly the same effort as the last one until you change something structural.
The posts here cover both stages. Sourcing guides deal with where inventory actually comes from at each level, thrift and clearance, wholesale, liquidation and Amazon return pallets, and how to evaluate a lot before you buy it rather than after. Platform guides cover Poshmark, Mercari, StockX, GOAT and eBay, each of which has its own fee structure, buyer expectations and rules that decide what is worth listing where.
Category guides go deeper on the niches with the best margins and the worst counterfeit risk, sneakers, watches, designer bags and clothing, where authentication knowledge is the actual moat.
Then there is the structural change. Resellers who get past the plateau usually do it by building an audience and selling access, education or affiliate recommendations alongside the inventory. Several posts cover how that second income stream works and why it survives the weeks when sourcing is bad.
